More Than Enough

Fundraiser Image After several years of learning about the global orphan crisis, all roads keep leading back to economic empowerment. The book The Poor Will be Glad opened our eyes further to the power of savings and micro-loan programs. Upon researching micro-loans in Kinshasa, DRC, where our adopted son is from, we found Opportunity International. Wow! How did we not know about this? Instead of trying to start our own micro-loan programs, let's partner with the best of the best!

Where Donations Go

Although the Democratic Republic of Congo has begun to rebound economically from the conflict that devastated the country in the late 1990s, to date only 1% of Congolese have a bank account. We are excited to announce that in May 2011, we celebrated our grand opening in the capital of Kinshasa and our second branch opening in September. We are making encouraging progress to help the Congolese to build a stable future for their country. With your help, we can continue to grow our footprint in the DRC, empowering people to work their way out of chronic poverty and transform their communities.
