Anne's 40 for 40 - my birthday wish

Fundraiser Image For 40 years in this world I have been so very fortunate-- in my family, friends, home. I've been given so much by the people in my life, particularly some very amazing women. In recognition of my (quickly approaching!) 40th birthday, I honor my mother, my sisters, my mother-in-law, my best, most loving, supportive girlfriends, my daughter who is becoming an amazing person herself, and my grandmothers. Please help me celebrate the gifts I've been given by sharing with others. Microfinance loans and Opportunity International help women and families in poverty break the cycle and build a better life for themselves, their families, and future generations. My birthday wish this year is to impact other women's lives and get at least 40 donations to Opportunity International's One Woman Campaign by the date of my 40th birthday-- June 6th! Help a woman out?

Where Donations Go

In spite of the challenges they face, women worldwide show inspiring resilience and determination to break out of the cycle of poverty. Studies show that when women have access to financial services, they have a significant impact on the quality of life for their families, especially their children. Your gift to Opportunity will empower women to develop new roles as income earners and community leaders. With access to transformational training, and critical financial products such as savings, loans and insurance, women in poverty can build financial security and create stability for their families, often for the first time in their lives. Opportunity operates under a model of sustainable success. Loans are granted. Loans are repaid and loaned again and again. As important, 95% of our loan clients are women and 99% of these loans are repaid in full.
