Virginia is a hardworking mother of five children living in Tarlac. she runs a small convenience store in their village, which is the main source of income for their family, while her husband works as a farmer to help her generate a more sustainable income for the family. Virginia wanted to improve her store and provide better service since there are lots of convenience stores in their area. When she joined Opportunity International, she received valuable financial training to optimize her store. When those funds are repaid by the client, the funds remain in the country where the original client’s loan was disbursed, so that it can help fund more loans. Your initial gift continues to have an impact after the first loan is repaid.
